My Charities

There are a few organizations which I support.  One is the Cancer Association.  Did you know that if you make a donation to the Cancer Association, or to any association for that matter, that you can "ear-mark" where you want your donation going to?  Portions of donations to many charitable and worthy causes wind up going out on office expenses to keep their organization running.  For some of these charities, when I make my donations, I ear-mark the funds specifically for RESEARCH.  That way the money that I have donated can ONLY go for RESEARCH and NOT to offset their office costs.  All you do is write Research in the "Memo" portion on the bottom of your check.  :)
