Home Is Where The Heart Is
Children need to be taught how to
defend themselves against predators. They need to know about the dangers of the
world and what's out there. Our children of today face so many dangers that my
generation did not have to deal with. With being a pre-teen or teen these days, kids face the
pressures of drugs, gangs, and, as in all generations,
sex. Please make sure your children realize the
dangers of being involved with drugs and gangs, as
both of these can and do kill many, many children every
day.
Keeping kids happy, healthy and safe
is a
worry all parents have, no matter how old your child is or what era you raised
your children in.
On top of all
of this, our children must also be aware of the dangers of predators. They are
out there, in every town, every community, no matter how small the village,
there are dangerous people who are out to hurt our children. Sometimes, it's
even the parents themselves. Very sad, that folks must go through this. Abuse
of children, be it physical, mental or sexual, can have a lasting impact on a
person, all the way through their adult life. Some never heal from the trauma
of their abuse, and others of us learn to deal with our situations through
therapy.

Help your child and yourself learn how to deal with
Abuse and Molestation. Let's all help to stop the
vicious circles of crimes against children.
Children are our most precious resource, they do not
deserve to be beaten or violated. It makes them feel
bad about themselves and they lose their self-respect as
well as confidence, and self-assurance. Abuse is one
of the worst things a child can go thru. I know, I have been there. These crimes done to children not
only
affect them as a child but will continue to affect them
as an adult and as a parent themselves. It is hard to
break the circle of abuse, but by educating our youth
today we can stop the abuse of tomorrow.
Help spread the word about Child Abuse and let's work together to help put a stop to such family violence! If you are a victim of child or spousal abuse or any sort of Domestic Violence, please seek help! There are usually many shelters in most communities where you seek refuge should you be in a violent situation at home and have no where else to go!
